You may have noticed that the quality of NAND flash has significantly declined compared to previous years. Almost every second one, if not more often, has a bad block.
Have you noticed that every Toshiba NAND flash TC58BVG0S3HTA00 has at least 1 bad block?
This is currently the most relevant chip for those who repair printers, especially when it comes to firmware.
This chip is used in Xerox B210 / B205 / B215, as well as in all Pantum printers where NAND flash is used on the boards, at least all that I have encountered to date.
This bad block, which is found in all flash drives, has one peculiarity: the address of the block is always 768.
This bad block is incorrectly identified by all programmers. Essentially, it is conditionally a new layer in NAND flash, not an error.
Therefore, you can simply ignore this error. It will not affect the operation of the printer.
